The NuVu Query Suite is an affordable, integrated suite of programs which allow for the direct interrogation of the underlying Progress databases without the need for ODBC drivers. Results of these queries may be output to Excel, CSV, XML, PDF and other formats. A scheduler is provided to automate the running of the schedules and subsequent emailing, faxing, printing of the results.
The Executive Dashboard tool provides a container to display results (in chart or grid form) of any selected queries. Queries may be defined and saved for re-use. Redundant tables can be hidden from access, as can redundant fields within tables. Results can be split into up to 3 hierarchies (for example: customers in one grid, orders of selected customer in a second grid, and order lines of selected order shown in a third grid).
The integrated report designer (new with version 2) is a banded report designer that allows the user to easily manipulate the results of any query and present the information according to the user requirements.
